About Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is a method of training the brain to produce more effective brain waves. It does not put anything into the brain. It is a training tool. I work with children anywhere from the age of three up, as well as adults and older adults. Between three and seven electrodes are placed on the head and the client watches a movie or plays a game which is similar to computer games. It can be used in conjunction with medication or instead of medication in some instances. Research indicates its efficacy for elping autism, Migraine headaches; sleep difficulties; attachment issues and post traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, and a number of school related problems, including ADHD.
